Simply wonderful place to stay. When will we be able to bring our pets with us?
Kim how can you be so unkind to campers with dogs, you make no mention of people that soil the toilets and pee in the showers, I sometimes wonder if some people have their backside half way up their back, as for dog poop and barking I can only say that the vast majority of people that travel with their pets clean up after them, you of course are entitled to your opinion but sadly it people like you that spoil things for responsible pet owners.
We stayed at this Park quite a few times now and have found the Staff courteous & helpful. There are god size sites for your van. I would recommend this park to anyone. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location, but overpriced at $33pn for a very very old park with very old amenities & no facilities. Pets allowed in small section of park but not allowed on the beach or elsewhere in the caravan park so you are forced out onto the road to walk your dog or there is a off leash area with the 4wd access the northern end of the beach. The prices they are charging are for a 5 star park whereas in reality the park is only 1 star (sorry).
Just wondering do you have free wi fi as we are thinking of coming down this weekend
I have been going to Broomes Head on holidays for all of my 52 years. I would not go any other place. I have watched with interest the changing rules regarding pets, and to tell you the truth part of the reason I come is because they are not allowed. Barking dogs can ruin a good holiday as can the mess and poop they make. So I will be very disappointed when they are allowed in the park.
Lovely place to go but one problem not pet friendly. There are more and more people travelling with small animals that will never get the chance to stay here as they cannot bring there best friends(dogs) and stay. Most places I have stayed where there has been dogs there has never been a problem. Why don't you trial it any problems then you can stop again but most pet owners are responsible let everyone have the same chance to experience this great caravan park Brooms Head
Brooms Head Caravan Park is quite a gem nestled between national park areas on the NSW north coast. We had a lovely shady spot overlooking the ocean with a continuous sea breeze. If you like having not much to do and appreciating the view then Brooms Head is for you.
Large venue right on the beach. Sites are large. You can select from a variety of positions with the majority sites behind the sand dunes preferred for protection. Although area has small convienence store most larger supplies are obtained from Maclean township. sandon national park is only a short drive away. Brooms is an excellent place to relax and let the world go by.....
Very friendly helpful management. Sites on the hill with views lagoon-side or if you want a little more protection from the weather then the sites behind the dunes are fantastic with direct beach access. Good clean amenities. Surfing swimming in the lagoon fishing walking the wonderful beaches - something for the whole family. Spend hours beach-combing or just relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. General store and bowls club nearby. Great national parks are also nearby for day trips with opportunity for bush walks and kayaking. Definitely a hidden gem to return to and easily spend a week or more.
Beautiful area perfect for the weekend away from it all.
