Our caravan park lies on the shore of Lake King at Eagle Point, in the centre of the Mitchell River and Silt Jetties, Tambo and Nicholson rivers. McMillan Straits of Paynesville and Lake Victoria are just around the corner. All these water bodies are suited to cruising, sailing, fishing and water-skiing or just watching the many moods of the lake from your waterfront campsite.
The park lies 10 km from Bairnsdale, off the Paynesville Road, within 5 minutes drive of Paynesville for local shopping and the ferry to Raymond Island's bushland, one of the state's best Koala reserves, as well as easy motoring to the Buchan Caves and other scenic areas around the lakes.
Eagle Point has its own bushland kangaroo reserve, open to visitors and is a home to many species of native birds and wildlife. Our park is the perfect spot for a quiet weekend break, or an extended exploratory holiday, and we welcome family and social groups.

What a fab little park. Pet and child friendly.Management could not do enough to help us. Beautiful water views within 25 metres from camp site. Love love love it ... We will be back again and again.
our first night was lovely and peaceful because it rained but for the next two nights a group of people played music and talked, the second night until 2 am or later. We were camping and could hear every word, most of it colourful as they got more and more drunk. Not a word from management!! This is appalling service and spoils a beautiful place. There must be different rules for people in cabins. We will not go back.
What a fantastic little hidden gem this place is. Truly waterfront unlike others who say they are. With the best sites for the unreserved drop in traveller. Fantastic outlook and very peaceful with very pleasant welcome and managers. The amenities are older but exceptionally well maintained and clean as a whistle. If you are looking for a pleasant night or 2 on your trip up the coast from Melbourne this is a great little spot not to be missed. We will definitely use this park again.
Spent 2 nights, very clean, quiet & good amenities Really enjoyed the wildlife (fauna) - well worth a stay....
