One of Western Australia’s most loved and scenic holiday spots, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park features rugged limestone sea cliffs and windswept granite headlands dominating the coastline and interspersed by curving beaches, sheltered bays and long, rocky shorelines.
Camping is available at Contos, Point Road and Boranup campgrounds. Campsites are not bookable and operate on a first come first served basis. Rates are: adult $7.50, concession $5.50 and child (6-15yrs) $2.20 per night.
A park entry fee of $12 ($6 concession) per vehicle applies at many of the popular national parks in WA although not at Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. Many visitors appreciate the savings and convenience of purchasing either a four week Holiday Pass or Annual All Parks Pass online at before their trip.

Special Events

On the northern shores of Cape Naturaliste, Bunker Bay and Shelley Cove are protected from the prevailing south-westerly winds and popular for swimming, fishing or beachcombing.
Surfing is popular at many well-known breaks on the western coast, such as Smiths Beach, Injidup Beach and Redgate.
Marvel at the ocean’s beauty and power from scenic lookouts at Sugarloaf Rock, Canal Rocks and Wyadup Rocks.
The limestone of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste ridge is riddled with caves. A wide variety of caving experiences is on offer, from guided tourism caves such as Mammoth Cave, Lake Cave and Jewel Cave to adventure caving at Calgardup and Giants Cave.
The coastline west of the majestic Boranup Forest offers sweeping scenery, and great fishing and diving in the Ngari Capes Marine Park can be experienced at Kilcarnup and Cosy Corner.
