The Shire manages the Rosebud Foreshore Reserve. The reserve stretches approximately 7km from Anthony’s nose in McCrae down to Chinaman’s Creek in Rosebud West.

Camping sites are available from last weekend of October just in time for the Melbourne Cup weekend to April. There are 665 sites available, both powered and non-powered, all with great access to the beach, amenities and various shops.

This park is perfect families, overnight stays and travellers of all ages. On the beach. Beach great for kids. Clean amenities. Laundry available $5 washing machine $2 dryer for 40 mins. Sites charged per site, not per person. Helpful staff. Close to shops and restaurants. Depending on which section (section A/B) you are in can be noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Just over an hour drive to Melbourne city. We have stayed between September on and off to early December. So cant comment on "peak season".
