Baan Baa

Once boasting the longest railway platform in country NSW, the sleepy town of Baan Baa was a bustling railway village in its heyday. Located 30km north-west of Boggabri, Baan Baa began life as a squatting run, and stands today primarily as a grain terminal.

The town hosts a local market on the second Sunday of every month, while the recently renovated Baan Baa pub offers accommodation and counter meals to service the weary traveller.
