With so much to see and do, every Broken Hill visit should begin with a trip to the Information Centre.
The friendly staff at the Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre will handle your requests and bookings for local tours, and provide you with all necessary information for your step into the Great Outback.
The Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre is an accredited Level 2 Information Centre and has won the Rod Murdoch Memorial Award for recognition of outstanding contribution to tourism in NSW twice: 1995 and 2006.
The centre also features a gift shop selling souvenirs, many of which are locally made, as well as a range of facilities, including showers, toilets and disabled access for visitors. On site coach parking bays and bus wash facilities are also available, and a parking area for large vehicles is located opposite the centre.
The centre is open every day (except Christmas Day) from 8.30am. Closing times vary from 3pm to 5pm.
The Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre is located on the corner of Blende and Bromide Streets, Broken Hill, NSW. Phone: 08 8080 3560
