Go For Gold Chinese Easter Festival

Expand your cultural awareness with the colourful Go for Gold Festival.

Nundle's Go for Gold Chinese Easter Festival honours the contribution of Chinese and European miners in the development of Nundle and Hanging Rock.

It’s the second-largest annual festival in northern inland NSW and attracts some 16,000 people over two days of excitement.

Visitors can enjoy an array of traditional Chinese cuisines while listening to live music and watching Chinese Lion and Dragon dances by the Australian Yau Kung Mu Association.

There are more than 100 market stalls selling fresh produce, handmade crafts, jewellery, antique toys and other trinkets, as well as an area for children’s story time, face painting, an animal nursery and magician.

One of the most popular attractions is gold panning, where you can walk in the shoes of a miner and pan for real gold!

When: 26-27 March 2016
