Created to celebrate Slim Dusty, Hats Off is now an iconic music festival for country music lovers from across the nation.
Developed in 2000 by the Country Music Association of Australia, Hats Off to Country is not only a music festival but also aims to promote and acknowledge country music’s contribution to broader Australian culture.
Local pubs and clubs around Tamworth open their venues to showcase more than 100 individual artists for the festival, over four jam-packed days.
The festival also welcomes back many performers from the Tamworth Country Music Festival held earlier in the year – previous line-ups have included Dan Costa, Bruce O’Hara and Wendy Wood.
When: 7-10 July 2016
Where: Various venues across the Tamworth region
