The Hilltops Wine Region is an exciting wine region in the Murray-Darling Basin of NSW, and one which is quickly gaining a reputation for ultra-premium wines. The region surrounds the towns of Young, Boorowa and Harden, and is known for producing a diverse range of wines, including a selection of reserve reds.
One of the best and most convenient ways to experience the wines of this district is by visiting the Hilltops Region Wine Cellar. Located in the Visitor Information Centre, which is housed within the restored Old Railway Station, the Hilltops Region Wine Cellar offers the chance to see and purchase a selection of fine local wines. Additionally, the centre offers a range of jams, chutneys and cherry juice, with a selection of unique cherry wines and liquors also available.
