Paradise Tourist Park, Tamworth

Adventures

From luxury riverfront villas to comfortable cabins, Paradise Tourist Park offers a range of accommodation in the heart of Tamworth.

On a quiet bend in the Peel River just a few minutes’ walk from the main drag of Tamworth you’ll find Paradise Tourist Park. And no, you don’t need a tent or a caravan (although those are welcome too) – this park has a comprehensive range of cabins and villas available to suit all budgets and family configurations.

At the top of the range are the two- and three-bedroom riverside villas, luxuriously fitted with all the comforts of home.

The three-bedroom offering has space for a crowd, with two queen bedrooms plus a third containing two single beds and a television to keep early risers out of mum and dad’s hair. There is a spacious open plan living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and all the mod cons, plus a large outdoor dining deck with private barbeque facilities and even a storage shed. This is a true home away from home.

Eastside Villa

The two-bedroom villa is perfect for two couples or small groups, with both bedrooms containing king-sized beds (or alternatively two singles) and private ensuite bathrooms. Again, there is a fully equipped kitchen, open plan living area and a spacious deck. Both the two- and three-bedroom villas have reverse-cycle air-conditioning for year-round comfort. They are excellent options for travelling families or groups, offering the ‘togetherness’ that cannot be achieved staying in traditional hotel rooms.

The same goes for the park’s range of cabins, which are budget-friendly and offer a number of bedding configurations. Cabins are available in one or two bedroom options, with Standard, Ensuite and Riverside cabins offering private bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens and reverse-cycle air-conditioning. Budget cabins are a great option for those travelling on a shoe string, containing a double bed plus bunks and a small kitchenette. They do not have a private bathroom but are located close to the park’s amenities.

In addition to the self-contained homeliness of staying in the park’s villas and cabins, guests are also afforded access to the park’s facilities: the resort-style pool, the modern kids’ playground, the sprawling undercover barbeque area and wonderful camp kitchen with modern appliances plus a large dining/lounge hall with an enormous television and stacker doors creating indoor/outdoor seamlessness with the pool and barbeque area. There are two amenities blocks, both newly renovated and spotlessly clean.

Caravan and camping guests will enjoy those facilities, too, with sites available as unpowered, powered, drive-through and ensuite.

For comfortable, social and budget-friendly self-contained accommodation just a five minute walk from the shops and cafes in the heart of Tamworth, you can’t beat Paradise Tourist Park.
