SPYfest, Goulburn

Inspired by the world’s most famous spy, James Bond, SPYfest is the only festival in the world to celebrate the spy genre. Held in Goulburn, the birthplace of the only Australian actor to ever don Mr Bond’s tuxedo, George Lazenby, this two day event is a celebration of all things secretive.

It’s not all about Bond, however: SPYfest pays homage to all the great spys of the big screen, including Austin Powers, Jason Bourne, Maxwell Smart, Spy Kids, and more. The event includes a wide range of fantastic activities and attractions, including a street parade featuring Bond cars and Bond girls, a crime writers Q&A with Greg Barron, Chris Allen, Scott Bake and Rachel Amphlett, a Shagadelic Disco  blasting tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s, and the Secret Agents Gala Dinner, with Mr George Lazenby himself attending as a special guest!

Be sure to mark this weekend in your calendar and get along to the ‘Epicentre of Espionage’, Goulburn!
