You can either stop and enjoy lunch at this great picnic spot or keep driving up the hillside where you will pass sheep and cattle grazing on vibrant green pasture. When you enter the villages of Kangaloon and East Kangaloon, the old church and cemetery are interesting to see, with both featuring dry stone walls.

The road will then lead you into the town of Robertson, where the entrance is distinctly recognizable by huge, old gum trees. This charming, quiet rural town offers an array of different shops, including the Old Robertson Cheese Factory and Robertson Recollections.

The Robertson Nature Reserve is a great opportunity to explore a lush rainforest filled with adventures just waiting to be had. You can then follow the Tourist drive signs down Pearsons Lane to Belmore Falls,  one of the three picturesque waterfalls in the area, and explore its selection of walking tracks and lookouts. The Hindmarsh Lookout is particularly spectacular and allows you to soak up all of the beautiful surrounding nature. There are also short detours from this drive available that will lead you to Wildes Meadow and the village of Burrawang.

This scenic route will then bring you to Fitzroy Falls reservoir and picnic area. As you travel further on, you will find the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre. Here, you will be greeted with the breathtaking Fitzroy Falls, exciting bushwalks and a delicious selection of food and drinks at the Falls Café.
