He’s turned his passion into the backyard museum as well as a place to hang his growing collection of mineral artworks made from crushed up local minerals. The museum also includes Kevin wife Betty’s extensive Doll and Bear collection.

Visitors are given a personal guided tour that shows them the changes that have occurred in mining and mining operations from 1883 to the present day. Seating is available for visitors during the presentation.

The dioramas on display give a visual presentation of mining at different points in its history. There are 1500 pieces of mining memorabilia on display.

Kevin (Bushy) and Betty White are your guides. They were both born and bred in Broken Hill and are able to answer all your questions. As local people they are able to bring the stories alive through personal experience.
