Support local growers with a visit to the Young and Region Farmers Market.
Every first and third Saturday of the month, the Anderson Park car park in Young is transformed into a fresh, fun and fascinating marketplace. The Young and Region Farmers Market boasts stalls selling a wide selection of high quality foods and farm fresh produce, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, free range eggs, quail, olive oil, wine and more. Additionally, the market offers a range of unique gifts and products, such as goats milk soap and soy candles.
Visitors are also treated to a hot breakfast every market, with the Lions Club operating a BBQ which sells tea, coffee. Sausage sandwiches and bacon and egg rolls. A twilight market also operates on Thursday evenings twice a month, offering something just a little bit different. The Young and Region Farmers Markets are events as much as they are a great way to do your shopping, so come along, meet with local growers, and find yourself a bargain.
The Young and Region Farmers Market is held at Anderson Park, Lovell St, Young, NSW. Call 0439 638 233 for more information.
Please note markets do not operate in January. Saturday morning markets operate from 8am to 11am during daylight savings and 9am to 12pm during winter.
