The team at Four Winds Vineyard love the simple things; making great wine and wood-fired pizzas. Pull up a chair over-looking the vineyard, a glass of handcrafted wine in one hand and slice of wood-fired pizza in the other. The family vineyard was planted in 1998 and the new cellar door built in 2013. This new little building uses re-purposed materials from around the vineyard to reduce the amount of new materials required for the building. You will see old wooden picking bins cladding the building and wine barrels throughout the tasting room. Four Winds Vineyard is located to the north of Canberra just east of Murrumbateman, on the corner of Murrumbateman Road and Patemans Lane. The thirty-three acre vineyard is planted with six varieties; Shiraz, Riesling, Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sangiovese.
