Enjoy a challenging but rewarding walk in scenic surrounds. The Little Bald Rock walking track begins, and ends, at the Bald Rock camping and picnic area, and climbs for seven kilometres to the top of the impressive granite dome through forests of mountain gum and granite swellings. From here, you can witness incredible views stretching as far into the distance as Girraween National Park in Queensland. On your way back down the trail, which weaves along the base of Bald Rock, enjoy the pretty boronias and banksias that dot the path, and keep an eye out for geckos, skinks and kangaroos. Allow about five hours each way for this track.
