Ten Thousand Paces is a hybrid gallery, shop, arts project and regional wine hub in the busy regional town of Bowral in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
They sell art, design and cool craft alongside hundreds of local wines. The name, Ten Thousand Paces, relates to the distance that most of the artists live and work; building creative communities and sustainable careers in the arts.
Ten Thousand Paces Gallery aims to build and nurture regional identity and are a hub/bottle shop for local wine makers with hundreds of wines from over 50 nearby vineyards. Their high altitude and cool climate means the local distinctive wine style is very different to other areas like the Hunter.
The Gallery has a busy schedule of events, with exhibitions opening on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, and wine tastings every Thursday from 4pm-6pm.
